Jurongville's Speech Day 2008.My class bought like 21 ticket's or so. It's 50 bucks mind you and yet we chipped in so much.
Other classes got like half the price and their teachers would be paying the other half for them. Which means they pay only $25, isn't it so unfair to them teachers and us students? Each class has to sell 20 tickets, but for these classes, only 10 tickets. What's more, we ARE graduating students. They do not want to support the fund raising, which of cause would affect their future. Not ours. Too bad. Hahaha.
Miss Chua talked us into buying. And how did she do that? But making us think of how we'd feel after graduating secondary school.
It's kind of true yknw. After this year, there'd be no more old jurongville.
(It'll be demolished cause it's under the PRIME programme.) Most of us'd be missing our lower and upper secondary school times. How we'd quarrel our stupid things, how we'd work together, run along the corridoors, have our recess breaks together, sneak food back up to class, how our teachers would scold or laugh with us, how we'd make teacher so mad and get into trouble.
And especially with my favourite classes,
1n2'05/2n2'06, 3n2'07/4n2'08.
This current class I'm in, even though clique is not in the same class as I am except for JiePin, Lingpei, Thierry, Tingwei and the rest of the 'row' (some would get what I mean).
We're constantly fighting over the stupid fan thanks to the HOT weather, making so much noises, laughing at each of our stupid actions. It'll no longer be in the same class room. :{
Having FOUR canteen tables as Clique's during recess, cutting cues, student corner after recess and school, having PE lessons together. It'll all be different already.
I'd definately miss all those time I spent with my friends luh. :}
So why wouldn't those people buy the tickets? At least they'd be eating
atas (highclass) food what. Tsk. Brainless.
(Okay, idk why the sudden change of sad to sarcastic tone :/ ) After the super long emo paragraphs I typed out, my main point is...
I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR TO THAT DINNER.. and what's more,
IT'S NEXT FRIDAY or should I say
THIS-COMING-FRIDAY.. Gosh.
Who knows what they're gonna wear already?
I bet it'd be easy for guys to dress up aye?
Just grab a Polo tee or formal shirt to match with a pair of jeans or skinnies and style their hair will do. How I wish I was a guy, then I don't have to worry so much about my bad hair day, what I have to wear on events like these, spend moolah on one suit and wear it on that event and throw it aside, and other
stupid girl stuffs to worry about. (er hermmm~)
Sighhhhh, life is troublesome..
I feel sooo ah-ma-ish nagging here and all luh. What's more, school resumes tmr, Monday blues :{ Damnit. Why can't our weekends be like longer? Or have
Moonday after
Sunday? Haha crap.
Okay, I shall go pack my pack, wash up, and go and take my beauty sleep. Cheyyyy :] Just kidding. Heh.
